Chantilly, VA - Oak Grove's team exhibited today at the 20th Anniversary Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) Procurement Conference in Chantilly, VA.
The OSDBU Conference focuses on building partnerships between the Federal Government, its Prime Contractors, and small, minority, service-disabled veteran-owned, veteran-owned, HUBZone, and women-owned businesses. OSDBU 2010 provided networking and educational opportunities to all conference participants.
"This was my second year attending the OSDBU conference, and I feel our team came away from this event with much gained," said Robert Jones, Oak Grove's Vice President of Human Resources and Administration. "We were able to meet with many potential teaming partners at our booth, and we also attended some excellent, informational matchmaking sessions that pointed us toward new and exciting opportunities."
The mission of the Federal Office OSDBU Director’s Integrity Council is …“to exchange information on methods, initiatives, and processes that will permit our respective agencies to more effectively utilize small businesses in our prime contracts and subcontracts to the maximum extent practicable. In addition, the Council shall collectively act in the interest of small businesses on federal and national small business initiatives.”
